We arrived in Boulder on Friday, July 3rd, to a beautiful afternoon in Boulder. We headed downtown to get a slice of Nick & Willy's Famous Take & Bake Pizza. We ran in to Willy and hung out and caught up while we enjoyed our slices. Amy quickly realized where I learned to cook.
We got up Saturday, July 4th, and headed up to the Indian Peaks Wilderness. On our way we stopped at Moe's bagels where I got my favorite a garlic bagel with herb cream cheese. Yummy breath!!!!! We arrived at the Brainard Lake parking lot at 9 AM and began our ascent up Mt. Audubon (13,233 feet). Amy blasted up it like a warrior and became one with nature on the way up. I guess during college she was the squirrel queen but on this day she was chipmunk and marmot queen.
All joking aside, we say a ton of wildlife and it was great to be above tree line for about 4 hours. We actually were in a pocket because we were above the clouds down in Boulder and Denver but yet it was absolutely beautiful and clear above tree line.

Once at the top we hunkered down out of the wind and had a picnic.
Which is when I asked her to spend the rest of her life with me.
I think the big smile means YES!!!!!!!!More to come... we are heading up to the Aspen area Monday afternoon and then down to Telluride on Wednesday to visit Uncle Kevin, Annie and Emma.

Congrats Josh! We were up at Brainard on our bikes on July 4th, a bit after noon. Wish I had known you were there!!!
